Do I need to book a call with a clinician about my weight loss order?

Our online ordering process is designed to be as safe and seamless as possible. This means you don’t need to book a call with one of our clinical team during the order stages. We’ll be able to assess your suitability for treatment based on the online form you complete.

Who checks my consultation? Are they medically qualified?

Yes, all of the clinical team members who review your weight loss consultations are fully qualified prescribing pharmacists who have undergone additional training. All of our pharmacists and prescribing pharmacists are fully qualified and GPhC registered.

Will I need to give extra information after my online consultation has been completed?

In most cases we shouldn’t need to ask for extra information once you’ve completed your online consultation. If we do, we’ll contact you as soon as possible. In some cases we’ll ask for photographic evidence of your body composition and weight reading. We may also ask you to contact your GP and request a copy of your GP record is sent to us (when we are unable to access this online ourselves).

Will you tell me why I’ve been rejected for treatment?

Unfortunately, we can’t provide individual reasons when patients don’t meet the clinical eligibility criteria.

Will you inform my GP?

During the online consultation we’ll ask you to provide your GP details. If your consultation is approved, we’ll contact your GP and let them know about any treatments you start with Phlo Clinic.
